Flex Engine Technology
Flex Engine technology platform allows you to configure
your LineMaster to do specific tasks based on your needs. The
following engines are available for the LineMaster L10/H10 series.
Simply select the LineMaster based on frequency and maximum RF power requirements
and then select the appropriate engine for your specific task at hand.
Encoding Engine

The Encoding Engine is the fastest and most affordable
solution for programming RFID tags. The Encoding Engine generates
serialized data to encode RFID tags based on content of the counter
in the memory of the LineMaster. The Encoding Engine will attempt
to write to the RFID tag based on trigger inputs provided by an
external event. Upon success or failure of the write action, the
Encoding engine can be programmed to provide separate output triggers.
The Encoding Engine can be programmed through a network interface
and connected to a web service to obtain serial number data and/or
transmit the write data. The Encoding Engine can also control the movement
of products in a conveyor belt setup based on success of failure
of the write function.
Sorter Engine
The Sorter Engine main application is segregation
of products based on content of their barcode or RFID data. Sorter
Engine triggers outputs by comparing RFID/barcode data with
a user defined template. In addition The Sorter Engine is designed
not only to control the movement of products based on configurable
filter templates, but also it can connect to a web service to
obtain the instructions as data collection from barcode and RFID
tags becomes available. Sorter Engine in conjunction with Web
Services enables the users to transmit data to the back end systems
and effectively control the movement of products in a conveyor
belt setup.
Sort Based on Filter Template
Comparing the collection of data from RFID and
barcode with user definable filter templates will enable the Sorter
Engine to trigger different outputs.
Sort Based on Related Data
In cases where Sorting decisions can not be made
locally, Sorter Engine will invoke web service function calls
in XML format to the back end systems. Upon the response from
the back end system, Sorter Engine will provide the appropriate
trigger output.
Router Engine
Router Engine sends collected barcode and RFID
data along with other parameters to user's back end systems by
invoking web service function calls. Collecting data from barcode
and RFID is controlled by input triggers. In the case where no
data is collected, upon an incoming trigger, the Router engine
can be programmed to activate outputs.
