HF Multiport Companion

Engineered to integrate two technologies, the RFID Multiport Companion joins RFID and barcode data streams together creating a single, efficient and economical identification system for the client.

The RFID Multiport Companion combines the intelligence of a RFID system with the simplicity of a barcode system in addition to it’s ability to read several different RFID tag types. This enables the client to maximize the benefits of both systems without the additional costs of separate, expensive software packages; thus increasing the value of the investment in RFID and barcode systems. In addition, the onboard intelligence of the INT101 family of products means that they will operate simple functions without middleware or computer support and is indeed agnostic to the computer it delivers the data to.

Currently ISO18000-3 is the RFID tag of choice by many libraries because of its robust performance in reading range and EAS capabilities. HF Multiport Companion with its built-in fuctionality of reading and writing ISO18000-3 tags without a need for a computer, enables the librarians to use the full capability of RFID as easily as possible.
